(This is a summary of the research article submitted for a Master’s degree in Organisational Learning and Development) ‘If each and every employee plays the drums, an echo will be heard throughout the whole organisation’. (female employee Waterschap AA en Maas, face-toface interview, March 2022). She is absolutely correct! By making this assertion, the employee is hitting the nail on the head, particularly when it comes to successful learning. Successful innovative organizational learning does not result from individual or small group training sessions, but it originates from a collective learning process.
